  • In Pakistan today, over 25 million children between ages 5–16 are out of school — one of the highest numbers in the world. That means 1 in every 3 Pakistani children is being denied their basic right to education.

  • Girls suffer the most. With a national literacy rate of only 62.8%, the gender gap remains alarming — millions of girls never learn to read, write, or dream beyond the limits society places on them.

    Government spending on education has fallen to a historic low. This means marginalized communities — especially orphans, rural children, and girls — are the first to be abandoned. ZWEE Foundation was born to change this story. For 25 years, we have been standing where the system has failed.
